City University of Seattle is a private, nonprofit university and we are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer for our School of Applied Leadership programs. Specifically looking for someone who is innovative and specializes in learning engagement that fosters student success (typically multiple pathways of learning, scaffolded learning, integration of instructional technologies, etc.

Short-term, this role will be focused on getting our current courses up to high quality standards, and developing a series of “executive leadership” modules (we already have content, but just need a visionary instructional designer to make the modules amazing!). Longer-term (within a year), we’d like to see this person’s role evolve into a director role over our Master’s in Adult Education program which has an innovative design that incorporates both Quality Matters and Blackboard Exemplary rubrics, while still continuously elevating the quality and innovation of our existing courses.
