Leadership Development Special Interest Group
Summary: This community of practice group shares a passion for advancing the discipline of leadership development. We welcome anyone that shares an interest in leadership and professional development topics--from veterans to those that are new to the field! We’ll rotate each meeting with a networking event or structured learning event. Check the ATDps Event Calendar to see the monthly session format.
When: Quarterly on the first Tuesday of the selected month from 4:30-6pm.
Summary: Meet people in the fields of training, coaching, performance improvement, instructional design, human resources, leadership development, and organizational development. Join us in Fremont on the first Thursday of each month to network, exchange ideas, resources, and leads, enjoy good company over drinks, appetizers or dinner! We welcome anyone and everyone who may be interested -- trainers, coaches, consultants, HR pros, performance improvement specialists, OD experts or those just getting into the field or training and development. No pre-registration is necessary, as you are responsible for your own food and drinks.
When: 5:00-7:00 pm on the 1st Thursday of every month. Arrive and leave as fits your schedule, this is informal.

We are a mix of full-time employees, independent consultants, and/or those in career transition. We exchange ideas, resources, and leads, and enjoy good company! Feel free to invite others who may enjoy this group-that's the point of the group. No pre-registration is necessary, as you are responsible for your own food and drinks (be they herbal tea, diet soda, draft beer, or martinis).
When: Currently this group is combined with the Seattle Networking Group above.
DEI Talent Development Special Interest Group
Summary: Meet people from private and public sectors in training, coaching, performance improvement, human resources, leadership development, and organizational development with an emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our work. This interest group's overall goal is to exchange ideas, share best practices and strategies, and resources to help shift the culture of Talent Development through DEI lenses and build a culture that weaves DEI into the fabric of our work. Feel free to invite others who may benefit from this group and are committed to building an inclusive, varied workplace welcoming to people of all backgrounds.
When: Third Thursdays of each month (except November and December)

Summary: The CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) Study Group is for CPTD candidates, people who are considering becoming CPTD candidates and other professionals interested in learning more about the field of talent development.
