Leadership & Facilitation Interest Group
Summary: Does your work in talent development lie at the intersection of leadership development and facilitation? Are you interested in those fields or being in community with other practitioners? If so, ATD Puget Sound has the Interest Group for you! The Leadership Development and Facilitation Group provides an opportunity to connect, converse and contribute your expertise to current or aspiring professionals who, collectively, are working to create a better world of work.
When: Quarterly (Check calendar for dates)
Summary: Meet people in the fields of training, coaching, performance improvement, instructional design, human resources, leadership development, and organizational development. Join us on the first Thursday of each month to network, exchange ideas, resources, and leads, enjoy good company over drinks, appetizers or dinner! We welcome anyone and everyone who may be interested -- trainers, coaches, consultants, HR pros, performance improvement specialists, OD experts or those just getting into the field or training and development. No pre-registration is necessary, as you are responsible for your own food and drinks.
When: 5:00-7:00 pm on the 1st Thursday of every month. Arrive and leave as fits your schedule, this is informal.

We are a mix of full-time employees, independent consultants, and/or those in career transition. We exchange ideas, resources, and leads, and enjoy good company! Feel free to invite others who may enjoy this group-that's the point of the group. No pre-registration is necessary, as you are responsible for your own food and drinks (be they herbal tea, diet soda, draft beer, or martinis).
When: Currently this group is combined with the Seattle Networking Group above.
DEI Talent Development Special Interest Group
Summary: Meet people from private and public sectors in training, coaching, performance improvement, human resources, leadership development, and organizational development with an emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our work. This interest group's overall goal is to exchange ideas, share best practices and strategies, and resources to help shift the culture of Talent Development through DEI lenses and build a culture that weaves DEI into the fabric of our work. Feel free to invite others who may benefit from this group and are committed to building an inclusive, varied workplace welcoming to people of all backgrounds.
When: Third Thursdays of each month (except November and December)
