Meet people from private and public sectors in training, coaching, performance improvement, human resources, leadership development, and organizational development with an emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our work. This interest group's overall goal is to exchange ideas, share best practices and strategies, and resources to help shift the culture of Talent Development through DEI lenses and build a culture that weaves DEI into the fabric of our work. Feel free to invite others who may benefit from this group and are committed to building an inclusive, varied workplace welcoming to people of all backgrounds.

Analyzing and prioritizing elements of a learning initiative or talent solution helps to ensure a meaningful and relevant learner experience. Effective project management requires being able to plan, organize, direct, and control resources for a finite period to complete specific goals and objectives. (Project Management 1.5)

    Leadership & Facilitation Interest Group

Save the date and hold the space! The next gathering of the Leadership & Facilitation Interest Group is set for April 26th. We'll be talking leadership and experiencing facilitation. More specifically: how facilitation can meet the challenges and opportunities of leadership development in 2023.

Whether you're an in-house practitioner, external consultant or aspiring L&D professional, we want to hear your perspective on what's giving leadership development a lift in 2023, what's holding it back - and what facilitation tools, resources and activities you and your peers are using to reach new heights.

Join us from 5pm-6pm on Wednesday, April 26th to learn, connect and discover alongside the Puget Sound professionals who are leading the way.

This gathering is free and open to ATDps members and non-members alike

**Special Note: At Rover HQ, many employees take their dog to work--so you may run into a furry friend (or a few)! All employee dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations. Please note, however, no guest dogs will be permitted for this event (the only exception is a certified service animal).

Lifelong learning is sometimes called continuous learning, agile learning, or learning drive. It is marked by traits such as self-motivation, insatiable curiosity, and intelligent risk-taking. TD professionals should model the value of lifelong learning by pursuing knowledge for personal and professional reasons. Taking ownership for one’s own professional development signals to others that they can and should do the same. (Lifelong Learning 1.7)
