Mentorship Program

Mentorship Program

Where do you want to be professionally in the next year? In order to find yourself with new skills, new competencies, a new job, or whatever goals you have - let the ATD Puget Sound (ATDps) Mentorship Program support you.

This year the mentorship will be a team experience, where one mentor is partnered with 2-3 mentees that all share similar goals centered around a competency from the ATD Capability Model. These group-conversations will allow for enhanced engagement, multiple perspectives, as well as networking and community learning. It will help develop both mentor and peer mentoring relationships which are long-lasting supportive relationships.

The six-month program kicks off in May, so to be considered, please complete the form linked here, as well as the ATD Capability Self-Assessment by end of day Friday, May 3.

Click here to express interest in the program.  If you do not see the confirmation email, please read this or send an email to us here.

Mentors will have a kick-off session on May 13 and mentees on May 14. The program ends in November. We encourage you to sign up as a mentor, mentee, or both!

During the Mentorship Program, you will have access to a program guide with resources and targeted discussion points, a dedicated Slack channel, and opportunities to attend networking gatherings with the mentorship community.

Great news is the program is FREE for ATD Puget Sound members. Not a member? Join today. Or, if you are not a member, this program is $59 for each six-month cohort. Note, if you haven’t joined, you will not be sent a payment link until you’re paired with your mentor / mentee.

If you’re still debating, see what participants said about the program last year:

[My Mentor] exceeded my expectations as a mentor. She was always available and responsive. She often offered additional time to wrap up conversations when we met. She listened with curiosity and responded to my questions around learning design strategy, change and ambiguity at work, and self-advocacy. I admire her empathy, positivity, and expertise.

[My Mentor]  is an incredible mentor and coach. He helped me generate new ideas on how to execute projects I was working on in my day job. He also helped me unlock my potential through his great coaching questions and suggestions, more specifically, he helped me to identify my values and what I'm looking for during my career transition. I appreciated his perspective and expertise.

I'm very grateful for the mentorship provided by [My Mentor] . From skill-building to navigating a promotion, her guidance has been transformative for me. Her unwavering support extended beyond the mentorship period, helping me set and achieve goals. I owe much of my professional growth in 2023 to her insights and encouragement. She made an incredible impact, and I am fortunate to have had such a dedicated mentor.
