What makes a product memorable? How does an experience transform from informational to inspirational? Behind every pleasant user interaction is a well-thought-out user experience. The need for implementing a thoughtful and impactful user experience (UX) has grown rapidly in recent years, with LinkedIn labeling it #5 among the most in-demand hard skills in 2020. However, in order to create an effective UX, it's first important to gain a foundation in a UX professional's #1 tool: the User-Centered Design (UCD) process.
In this workshop, attendees will receive a hands-on experience in exploring every aspect of the UCD process, from research techniques, design strategies, and usability testing. By the end of the session, attendees should feel equipped with knowledge on how they can become larger advocates for their end-users and how UCD will enhance future products or experiences that they create.
