Some industries understand how to engage and immerse people in an experience better than others. Escape rooms are certainly one of those industries. Join us as ATD Puget Sound looks under the hood of Puzzle Break, the first escape room to land in the United States. During this unique Under The Hood experience, we’ll have an opportunity to participate in an escape room experience, then spend some time with Puzzle Break founder Nate Martin as he talks about the overlap between escape room design and training design. After the escape room and escape room design discussions, we’ll spend some time thinking through how we might bring escape room elements into some different training scenarios at our own organizations.

Our Host:

Nate Martin is an entrepreneur, game designer and former software executive, and is the co-founder and CEO of Puzzle Break, the first American room escape company. He is often referred to as the “Founding Father of Escape Rooms”. Under Nate’s leadership, Puzzle Break now has locations in Seattle, San Francisco, Long Island, Boston and on several Royal Carribean cruise ships.
