Practical Strategies for Building Real Partnership

Working with stakeholders can feel like navigating a maze of unclear expectations, urgent requests, and misaligned priorities. It’s easy to get stuck in a reactive, order-taking role—especially when stakeholders just want training fast. It’s time to shift those dynamics and step into a more strategic partnership. This session introduces a practical framework—the Strategic Business Partner Grid—to help you analyze how each stakeholder currently perceives you. With that clarity as a starting point, we’ll explore real-world strategies to shift those perceptions, strengthen alignment, and build trust. You’ll walk away with tools to move stakeholder relationships forward and position yourself as a true business partner. If you're ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building meaningful, strategic partnerships, this session will show you how.

As a result of this session, you will:

1) Analyze how stakeholders currently perceive your role using the Strategic Business Partner Grid

2) Learn practical strategies to shift stakeholder perceptions and position yourself as a true partner

3) Strengthen your ability to align learning efforts with stakeholder priorities and business goals
