Whether you're seeking fresh insight or ready to share what you've learned, the ATD Puget Sound Mentorship Program invites you to grow through meaningful connection.

Mentees: Clarify your goals, strengthen your confidence, and develop capabilities that matter — all through supportive guidance and shared learning.

Mentors: Deepen your leadership presence, sharpen your coaching and feedback skills, and expand your influence by empowering others.

Mentorship is a two-way street — when we connect, we all move forward.

🤝 What the Program Offers

This 4.5-month program (July–December) is open to both members and guests of ATD Puget Sound. Mentors and mentees are matched based on professional goals, experience, and shared areas of focus from the ATD Capability Model.

Together, you'll:

  • Define a SMART development goals to guide your partnership
  • Engage in structured 1:1 or small-group mentoring
  • Access a curated Mentorship Guide with conversation templates and growth tools
  • Connect with peers via a dedicated Slack channel
  • Participate in optional networking events, goal workshops, and mentor coaching

💡 Who Should Join?

Mentors: If you have a “superpower” within the ATD Capability Model, we invite you to share your insights and support the next generation of professionals.

Mentees: If you’re looking to grow your capabilities, confidence, or clarity—we’ll help you get there.

You can even join as both a mentor and a mentee!

📅 Key Dates

Applications Open: until July 25th 2025

Program Kickoff: July 30th

Program Runs: July 30th – December 15th

Includes: Goal-setting and coaching workshops, peer-to-peer learning, networking opportunities, office hours, Slack engagement, and graduation celebration

Program Requirements

To join the program, participants must:

  • If you applying as a mentee - complete the ATD Capability Self-Assessment
  • Submit the appropriate application(s)
  • Commit to a 4.5-month partnership
  • Meet with your mentor/mentee regularly (~2 hours/month recommended)
  • Participate in surveys, Slack conversations, and community events (having Slack ID is necessary)
  • Notify program manager of any concerns
