 ATDps: May 2016 Chapter Meeting

Co-Creating Learner-Centric, Brain-Friendly Events

This chapter meeting will focus on the Instructional Design and Training Delivery pillars of ATD’s competency model.

In giving context to content, one is best served by applying a learner-centric, brain-friendly mindset. This immersive, experiential session will apply principles from neuroscience, design-thinking, appreciative inquiry, and critical thinking.

If you’re looking to expand your thinking and application of co-creating dynamic experiences, come join us to explore the possibilities. You’ll partake in a learner-centric, brain-friendly session and gain some fresh thinking and resources to co-create dynamic learning experiences.

During the session participants will-
• Engage in some neuroscience principles.
• Become immersed in a modified design-thinking exercise.
• Apply an appreciative inquiry mindset.
• Leverage critical thinking elements.

Upon departure, you’ll also be provided with resources to go deeper.
