The Learning Technology and Innovation Interest Group (IG) focus on the intersection of technology and learning for the talent development profession.
This group enables participants the opportunity to find out about cutting edge organizations, new technologies, innovations and trends in learning.
This meeting will focus on Diversity and Inclusion in Learning, Technology and Video. More organizations are using video as a tool that can be accessed on demand and enable more employees to view and take training. What can we do as learning professionals to ensure that the video and online learning content includes the appropriate diversity and inclusion elements? Attend the next meeting for an interactive presentation and roundtable discussion around Diversity and online learning.
Terryl has over 30 years of experience related to equity and social justice. Specifically, he specializes in examining the intersectionality of race, changing demographics, emerging trends, higher education, and new media. He is currently the Diversity Director at University of Washington Bothell.
Terryl completed his Ph.D. in Educational and Communications Technology at the University of Washington. His dissertation topic was, “MOSAIC: The Case Study of a diversity-based, E-learning Community.” He received his MA from Syracuse University in Public Relations and he majored in Government at Eastern Washington University.
