EVENT DESCRIPTION

In this virtual panel discussion, we’ll be joined by local affinity/equality group leaders. We hear strategies for growing and supporting affinity groups, the best ways to engage with them, and the places where Talent Development professionals can fill in the opportunity gaps that affinity groups alone cannot close.

Speaker Bios: 

Venus Rekow

Venus Rekow is the Founder of Neural Shifts, a consulting firm specialized in helping leaders drive culture change through a Diversity & Inclusion lens. Her passion is helping teams foster inclusive workspaces to drive innovation & performance. She is well known for her ability to assess organizational culture & translate research insights from behavioral science to drive positive change. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies & Non-profit organizations. 

As a speaker, she delivered a well-received TEDx talk on “The Power of inclusion.” Venus recently completed a certification in Behavioral Economics at Harvard University & is a certified executive coach.  She earned a Master’s degree from Seattle University in Organizational Development, a B.S. in psychology from Boise State University and completed Masters level coursework on Neuroscience. She loves reading and learning from her kids & husband.


Ivan Lee

Ivan H. Lee is an experienced leader, program manager, and training facilitator who helps people and organizations find and fulfill their purpose so they can thrive. He has led change initiatives in learning, D&I, and corporate social responsibility at organizations such as Apple, AmeriCorps, and most recently at T-Mobile, where he manages their ethical leadership training program.

Online Registration Closes One Day Prior To The Chapter Meeting. At That Time We Are No Longer Able To Accept Pre-Registrations.

We are not able to issue refunds after the Friday prior to the meeting. Substitutions are encouraged.
