ATDps: April 2021 Virtual Member Event

Thought Leadership with Aaron Hill

How do you help foster change and strategize when your own organization is undergoing its own business transformation? It can be difficult to visualize how your program can thrive during a pandemic when so many of us are trying to adapt to a virtual world. Establishing yourself as a thought leader takes time, strategy and a clear vision and objective. Take some time this April 13th, to listen to Aaron Hill speak on how he was able to successfully pivot Skillpoint Alliance, a rapid workforce development organization, to the virtual world and effectively inspire innovation.

Aaron Hill serves as the Program Director at a non-profit in Austin, TX that provides rapid job training programs for low-income individuals.  In his role, Aaron is responsible for partnership building, project planning, and ensuring training outcomes are achieved.  With over ten years of experience in learning and development, Aaron is passionate about the life-changing power of education.  Prior to relocating to Austin, Aaron worked as a higher education administrator and also as a training team leader in New York State.  Aaron holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from Carthage College, an M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Puget Sound Chapter Programs have been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute for continuing education credits towards professional development hours for recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials.
