Overview
Our annual Conference will draw more than 200 attendees from throughout the Pacific Northwest.
This year’s conference will feature 14 concurrent sessions and 2 ConnectUP! sessions. In addition to the great keynotes and informative workshops, you’ll be able to engage in speed networking and mentoring, take a few moments to catch up on email in the Cyber Café and visit with exhibitors to learn about the latest in the workplace learning field.
The theme this year focuses on three areas:
• In the Classroom (i.e., ADDIE concepts, classroom management skills, presentation skills)
• Outside of the Classroom (i.e., getting started with elearning webinars, asynchronous training programs, and how to develop for success)
• Leading the Way (i.e., measuring training effectiveness, mentoring/coaching team members, managing your career)
These areas were selected with the idea that each of us needs to continue to be skilled in the basics of workplace learning. That way, we can keep our skillset current and further push the envelope in skill development for both ourselves and our employees.
