We live in an increasingly networked world, one that requires adaptive leaders with the capacity to work in highly connected ways. However, the leadership approach that makes networks thrive is different than that which supports work inside organizations and coalitions. If you are supporting an organization which is developing partnerships with other organizations or networks in order to deliver its mission, then understanding the difference in leadership approach will increase your capacity to support those who must live in both traditional organizational and networked environments. The purpose of this 2 hour gathering is to share and explore network principles, practices, and roles. Using an interactive format, we will explore what it means to have a network mindset guide leadership. You will have an opportunity to explore with other professionals the challenges of working on the cusp of traditional organizations and networks.
