Description of Duties

Instructional Designer for instructor-led and web-based training for new and existing training programs in the Contact Center.


Coordinates and delivers quality instruction according to course objectives.   
Responsible for designing and/or delivering computer-based/web-based and instructor-led instructional materials for all Contact Center training programs including new hire, advancement, and new products and processes.
Creates and facilitates both instructor-led and web-based training sessions according to course objectives.
Creates learner testing and evaluations as well as monitors and evaluates learner performance
Analyzes training needs, sets learning objectives, and develops instructional materials and appropriate media to achieve the learning objectives
Supports partner call center training
Provides performance feedback on training facilitators
Assists supervisor with training administration and reporting
Provides a leadership role within a group of trainers and training assistants
Participates in department development/improvement processes
Assists with the development and presentation of training for other departments
Maintains supplies inventory
Assists with communication of new procedures
Takes consumer calls on occasion
Oversees temporary project groups
Schedule fluctuations, holiday and weekend work may be required
Up to 5-10% domestic and international travel
 

 

Summary of Requirements

Three to five years related supervisory and/or training experience across multiple locations
Proven ability to develop and facilitate consumer service training programs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent skills with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and eLearning/instructional design software (Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate),
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and decision making skills
Supervisory background helpful
Education

Undergraduate degree in Business or Education preferred
Background in adult training theory and techniques preferred
