Description/Comment: General Responsibilities: Design, develop and launch training program(s) for business by using instructional design principles to produce a written Leader?s Guide, Student workbook, job aids and testing material.

Additional Job Details: • Perform task and content analysis with subject experts to obtain specific information to be included in curriculum • Design robust training programs targeted at educating both center-based and virtual Travel Consultants, and other employees as necessary, to achieve training objectives. • Design responsibilities will include - Outline/syllabus, text content, handouts and job aids, tests/answer keys, practice exercises, role-plays, small group activities, simulations, computer-based self-paced e-Learning, and more. • Provide scalable support for on-going assessment testing and maintaining historical learning log to determine the effectiveness of training provided • Partners with Quality and Operations to Monitor completion, comprehension, and retention of the content deployed to identify content effectiveness, as well as continuous improvement opportunities and lessons learned • Communicate effectively with clients and students, as well as internal and external organizations to develop and deliver adult learning • Ability to present curriculum and lead group discussions in a professional environment, both in-person and remotely • Apply advanced design processes to enhance adult learning • Create, update, and modify knowledge base content. • Work to set and establish instructional design standards for new content Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred • Demonstrated skills and success in process improvement design and workflow analysis • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially written and oral communication skills • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to develop plans and set priorities • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, complex projects; strong project management and follow-up skills; strong ability to multi-task and continually prioritize changing projects tasks/deliverables • Ability to work independently and solve problems in a timely and professional manner • Ability to learn multiple systems and processes quickly • Strong analytical and strategic thinker with ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data • Minimum 1 year of experience designing self-paced, computer-based training/courses, web-based and virtual instructor-led training • Experience in Adult Learning Methodologies (ALM) and Accelerated Learning techniques preferred • Experience in the travel industry an asset. • Experience with Travel Global Distribution Systems (preferably Sabre/Worldspan) • Strong experience with productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Internet Explorer • Strong experience with eLearning Software such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Connect, JoinMe, and others.
