Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer
Duration: 9 months with potential extensions
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Minimal Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Education or Computer or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design and or communications
- Proven ability to translate complex technical into easy to understand
- Media asset production skills (print and digital media)
- Tech-savvy, advanced technical aptitude in Microsoft Office 365 apps
- Experience in adult learning theory
- Self-motivated and creative, with the demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with strong business judgment, ability to learn fast and work independently
- Outstanding work ethic (acts with integrity, professionalism and discipline)
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex ideas concisely both in verbal and written presentations with strong interpersonal skills
- World-class customer service orientation
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in end-user technology adoption
- Prior experience in the marketing of training and or employee programs
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Prior communications and or journalism background is a plus
- Previous HR experience
- Graphic design skills
