    3. How to learn from the successes of the bootcamp learning model to invigorate your training programs
    4. What content developers can learn from the structure of reality TV to make learning more engaging

Have you ever thought “we could do this better?” when it comes to the employee onboarding process at your organization?  You’re not alone!

If you want to “hack” this process with a group of like-minded disruptors and innovators, join us for this half-day workshop to make onboarding AWESOME!... or at least better.

Together we’ll explore the questions below, so come ready to work, and share your biggest dreams and best ideas for what onboarding COULD be:

    1)      What about the onboarding process do you think is BROKEN?  What are your 3 biggest challengers today, with new hires in particular?

    2)      What would your “dream state” look like?  Identify 3 things you’d use as measures to indicate that you’ve achieved this state

    3)      What are the barriers to reaching the dream that you envision?

    So, if you’re someone who…
    ·        Is involved with or manages onboarding in your org
    ·        Has ideas and wants to disrupt the way we’re doing it now
    ·        Thinks that it could get better – not coming to learn from the expert, but rather wants to share your own expertise
Note: there will be NO presentations or special guest speakers – this is a work session

    What you get:
    ·        All of the information, ideas and content from this workshop will be 100% open source
    ·        First read of a comprehensive report that outlines the challenges and solutions we come up with

o   Limited seating (sign up only if you know you can come and roll up your sleeves!)
o   Registration is FREE and on a first come/first served basis – tell your friends and colleagues!
o   Maximum registration: 40 – In order to maximize participation, please limit registrations to one representative per company/organization
o   To register, please RSVP to this email and Erin will add you to the list of participants.

    When: Friday March 11th 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (check-in begins 7:45 AM)

    • Learn about the coach-approach model: a coaching model for leaders that relies more on asking questions than giving answers to help employees to solve difficult issues and problems
    • Explore how supporting leaders develop their coaching skills
    • Learn key steps to take to advance the use of coaching in your workplace.

We have all heard leadership concerns about managing Millennials, as if they require completely different things from their employers than the rest of us. However, if you listen closely to Millennials, what they want is no different from what research has proven that all employees want in the workplace—a sense of purpose, transparency, and a say in what they do.

The issue isn't just about how to deal with Millennials in the workforce. It's about engaging employees across all generations. But can leaders do this effectively and still be productive? Absolutely. Nothing engages people better than listening to them—asking them for their input and opinions. And nothing works better at fostering good listening than coaching.
